Ingredients
  

DRY INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 cups Rice Chex
  • 3 cups Corn Chex
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1 –2 cups Gardetto's Snack Mix
WET INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 stick ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 –3 teaspoons Maple Sugar Bourbon Pork Candy Seasoning taste as you go
OPTIONAL ADD-INS:
  • Candy of your choice
  • Cooked maple bacon bits chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients: Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, mixed nuts, and Gardetto's.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Add the Pork Candy seasoning slowly — start with 2 teaspoons and taste to find the level your family loves.
  5. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Spread evenly on cookie sheets in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 45–60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven, add any optional mix-ins, and allow to cool before serving.
