Toasty Turkey Italian Sliders

The Toasty Turkey Italian Slider brings together chopped Plainville Farms deli turkey, pepperoni, salami, melted cheese, and a creamy Italian salad topping piled onto soft Hawaiian rolls. Finished with a golden garlic butter topping, these sliders are warm, flavorful, and perfect for an easy summer supper, game day snack, or crowd pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients
  

Sliders
  • 1 pack of King's Hawaiian rolls
  • cup mayonnaise
  • 5 slices provolone cheese
  • ½ pound hard salami chopped
  • ½ pound pepperoni chopped
  • ½ pound Plainville Farms Deli Turkey chopped
Slider Butter Topping
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon basil
Salad Mixture
  • 8 ounce bag shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup red onion diced
  • ½ cup chopped banana peppers
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup dill relish
  • ¼ cup Italian dressing

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Salad Mixture Prep
  1. In a medium bowl, mix lettuce, pickeled onions, relish, banana peppers, mayonnaise, and dressing together until combined. Cover and place in the fridge to chill.
Slider Prep
  1. In a frying pan over medium heat, add chopped turkey, pepperoni, and salami and cook until heated through.
  2. Place bottom rolls in a 9×13 baking dish. Spread mayo over the bottom rolls. Place in the oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from the oven and top with provolone cheese.
  4. Add meat mixture on top of the cheese, and spread
  5. Add the top half of the rolls back
Slider Butter Mixture
  1. In a bowl, mix butter, garlic powder, oregano, basil together.
  2. Brush the tops of the rolls with the seasoned butter mixture.
  3. Place back in the oven for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and remove the top buns.
  5. Spread the lettuce mixture over the meat, replace the top rolls.

Notes

When we made this, we used 2 packs of King's Hawaiian Rolls and used the same amounts of salad and slider meat mixture.  It made a thinner slider but was very good.
