One of my favorite things around the holidays is making homemade Chex Mix. I am more of a traditionalist and like mine made with W Sauce and seasoned salt. Just the bold flavors mixed in with my favorite goodies makes me happy. Well this past Christmas my wife decided she wanted to make her own batch and boy did she knock it out of the park.
I’ve got a ton of seasoning as many of us do. So she went over to my spice shelf and started looking around for what she wanted to use. She came across Running Wild Foods Maple Sugar Bourbon Pork Candy rub. If you want to try some for yourself, Click here! She started playing around with some different combinations and decided on one that she liked. After putting this in some little baggies and giving it to some friends we knew that she was on to something. This mix was probably one of the best that I’ve had. I even have to say it is right up there with my traditional mix.
