Close to a year and a half ago, I decided to start posting what I was doing in the kitchen and on the grill online. This has opened me up to a whole new world and introduced me to some of the most amazing people that I call my barbecue family. One of the biggest fears that I have when it comes to this though is getting in front of the camera. I don’t know why this is but I quickly become Ricky Bobby and have no clue what to do with my hands.

With a lot of pushing from my wife and several of my barbecue family, I have been put into positions where I needed to be in front of the camera. Maybe one of these days I will actually be ok with this but I am still getting comfortable with it. So back to when I started, I knew if I didn’t go to all platforms and reserve my name that someone might come behind me and take it. So I went to the usual suspects; Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and of course YouTube.

This past weekend I filmed my very first YouTube video and got it uploaded to my computer. Of course, I am no film editor either so you can imagine how long this took me. I have told some of my friends that I have a new found respect for them being able to put together a video so quickly. I guess what I am trying to say her is that I have my first video up and I’d love for you guys to help me grow this platform. Please go and like my video and subscribe to my page.
